How to Make Your Videos Look More Professional
PLEASE READ: UPDATED 9/17/2011 In this video, I outline 4 major mistakes made in the Youtube Community CAMERAS -I wouldn’t recommend anything other than HD cameras -UPDATE: You don’t need HD tapes as said in the film, HD tapes are higher quality though in the way that you can reuse and tape over them more times before they start dropping frames compared to a normal miniDV tape -UPDATE: A very good multi-purpose camera now is the GoPro which is HD, cheap, waterproof, and can be mounted on helmets -A good HD camera that is also cheap and compact are Flip Cameras, I currently have one and love it AUDIO -You can actually use your iPod headphones for a microphone on your camera GREEN SCREENS -although mine might not be amazing, bed sheets work awesome (blue and green) -just remember, lots of light, no shadows, and no wrinkles -UPDATE: you can also find cheap but very nice green screens on the internet EDITING SOFTWARE -Final Cut Express 4 is what I use so if you have questions on that I would be glad to answer them, but a lot of my friends use Sony Vegas and love it -UPDATE: iMovie and Windows Movie Maker can get the job done but cannot do as many things If you have any other questions feel free to ask me, I’m on YouTube CONSTANLY and I respond to ALL questions Good video for green screen how-to-do www.youtube.com
