I bought it because it was CHEAP and it works on NIkon DX format DSLR. I am using this lens on the recently purchased Nikon D2H (Professional Camera from 2003-04). Even though it is only a 4MP camera, enlargements can be made up 20X30 without loss of full resolution. The lens is nice and compact. The overall length does not change when zooming in and out. That is, this is an ultra professional camera for a cheaper price.

I recently bought a JVC HD111, this a short video giving an example of the results I have achieved from the camera so far. The test footage (Not the intro part showing the camera) Has had no colour correction applied and is simply the 720p HDV out put from the camera. All the footage was shot at 25fps.

I am not a professional camera expert but this should help. This is a small summary of the classic digicam Olympus C7070 Wide Zoom. It has a 7.1MP sensor (not very big in today’s term!), 4X lens Zoom, 1.8inch varied-angle screen and a magnesium tank body! In y opinion: the average camera user only needs 4-6MP to print 4X6 or up to 13X16 sheets at 300dpi without loss of details.
